1. Our Commitment to Fairness

Thadou Students' Association GHQ believes in maintaining fairness and transparency with its members, and therefore follows a structured cancellation and refund policy. Membership is not an ordinary product or service but a representation of identity and belonging to the Thadou community.

Once a person has enrolled as a member, it carries with it responsibilities towards the Association and the community as a whole. It is therefore not a matter of simple choice for someone born as Thadou to cancel or disown this identity.

2. Membership Cancellation Process

Membership cancellations will be considered only in exceptional circumstances and must follow a due process:

Submit cancellation request in writing within 1-2 days of registration

Request reviewed by competent body of the Association

Careful examination of reasons provided

Final Decision

Association's decision shall be final

Time Limit: Any request for cancellation or refund must be submitted within one to two days of registration.

3. Refund Policy

General Policy

Membership fees, once paid, are generally non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes the Rs 50 registration fee required for membership processing.

Exceptional Circumstances for Refunds:

Duplicate Payments

Accidental multiple payments for the same registration

Transaction Errors

Errors in the payment processing system

Genuine Reasons

Other genuine reasons accepted by the Association

Approval Required: Even in exceptional cases, refunds will only be processed after approval from the Association's authorised committee.

4. Refund Processing

Refund Timeline and Method:

Processing Time

If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 6-8 working days

Refund Method

Refunds will be processed through the same mode of payment originally used by the member

Processing Delays

The Association shall not be responsible for delays arising from banking systems or payment gateway providers

5. Payment Gateway Terms

All membership fee transactions are processed through secure payment gateways. By making a payment, you also agree to the terms and conditions of our payment service providers. The Association works with reputable payment processors to ensure secure and reliable transaction processing.

Security Note: All payment information is encrypted and processed securely. We do not store sensitive payment details on our servers.
